Our Baby South Florida Chameleons

^^ the nieces and nephews love watching these little guys ^^
Back in January one of our pet chameleon we caught back here (they are exotic to Fl. so we are able to catch and keep these reptiles) laid 26 eggs. After waiting 6 months we started checking on those little eggs everyday to see if one had hatched. It was like Christmas when finally our first tinny dime size baby chameleon was born. Then for the next week or so we would have one or two new babies everyday. It's amazing how perfect and healthy these little guys are, able to see, hunt, and change colors right out of the egg. For the past few months we have been taking care of 30+ chameleons. They have been growing so fast, I wish they could stay small forever. But they are a fun pet at any age.
