Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

We made it to Singapore last week. While here we have found a place to rent, gotten Blake's student visa, and he has already attended three of his classes. Other than that we have not really explored the island, except china town, which is just down the road from where we first stayed. And because we were traveling the 25th of Dec. lets let the Christmas season linger for a little longer here on the blog. As we were able to smash in a lot of Christmas fun before leaving for Turkey the 23rd. 

Starting with Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

After hearing amazing things about Disney's Christmas Party, we headed over to check it out one weekend. We watched the Christmas parade, got our hot chocolate with cookies, saw the soapy snow, and checked out the new fantasyland. That place adds so much to magic kingdom. One of our favorite parts was the light castle show, it was pretty impressive. Mainly we just spent time together, walking around enjoying ourselves.

Disney World: Let the Memories Begin!

Ran around all day looking for a churro, finally found them in Frontier Land. 

Here are some pictures from our trip to Disney World. We were at the park for a full 5 hrs and did everything we wanted to do. Except maybe ride the Peter Pan ride.... that line is alway way to long. The main things on the to do list for the day were: Splash Mt, Space Mt, and eat a churro. We thought that would take a full day by it's self. But it looks like summer crowds were not there yet. Other highlights were getting the best seats for the parade thanks to Blake, as well as getting front row on every ride. And yes, I take being a space ranger VERY seriously. It was so much fun running around the park with my two best friends. Disney just brings out the child inside.

The New Fantasyland is coming this year! We got to see a little for the new castle. Maybe when Jari gets back we will have to go again.

A Magical Day

Another little adventure we had before Jari left was going to Disney World. Blake has not been to Disney for years and Jari loves the place, so the three of us spent the day at the happiest place on earth. Here is a little video of the day. 

Now we are headed to Orlando again for the weekend. This time not for Disney but for Blake's brother's wedding. Love getting to spend time with family!
