For Spring Break Blake took me to Bali. I say he took me because I was too overwhelmed with school (I did not have that week off for spring break so I was trying to get really ahead in my classes) to do any of the planning for this trip, so I just went along for the ride. Most everyday we rented a scooter and explored different cities on the island. We were either the only ones on the road, driving through rice fields. Or a small speck in traffic, weaving through cars, buses, bikes, and other scooters. Throughout the week we found restaurants with resort like pools to swim in after we ate. We walked around the shops at Ubud, and feed or got attached by the monkeys at the monkey forest. If those little guys saw or suspected you had food, they would jump right on you to get something to eat. We spent a day on the beach, toured the Basakih temple, and went up into the mountains to see one of the many volcanoes. And Blake spent a few night out looking for cobras, no luck finding a big one but he saw a baby spitting cobra at least. It was a nice and relaxing get away. The rooms were cheap and the food even cheaper, we lived better in Bali then we do here in Singapore. The Indonesian food was amazing, and the people were always so helpful. Bali was beautiful inside and out.
